John Yeo is a father of an autistic child who is now 22 years old. He has been on a journey to help his daughter and other children with ASD find a way out of autism since the mid-1990’s.

Through the process, he has earned a license to practice acupuncture and a Master of Science degree from UK. He is a trained DAN! Biomedical consultant and has seen well over 1000 children at the Thomson Paediatric Centre at Thomson Medical Centre from 2003. He feels that a child stands the best chance if parents are able to combine behavioral and biomedical approaches. |
Some of these children are now leading independent lives appropriate for their age. His own daughter has improved her ATEC score from 77 to 23 as of September 2010. She has reached what John calls the First Target of Intervention: To eliminate biological issues and behavioral issues to a point where a child can be cared for without risks and danger to caregivers.
